Tour de Cure 2007

100 miles from Chesapeake, VA to Manteo, NC. Here we are on our way. Look who's leading the pack. Actually, the team let me ride in front because they new Tiffany was up ahead taking photos. The ride was a great success. The weather was beautiful and the team was great. All of us rode together the entire way. We left Hickory High School at 8:00 am and arrived in Manteo at about 2:30 pm. The average speed for the ride was 18.4 mph. Not too shabby!!

I'm halfway there!

At the half way point, I met up with my lovely wife and beautiful daughter for a box lunch and a little break. Here I am with Kathie. She was excited to watch her Daddie ride his bike.

Back on the Road

After a well needed rest and bite to eat, we were back on the road. How many more miles are left?

Rob, Kathie and I just came back from eating out at the Texas Steakhouse!
Our neighbors gave us a gift certificate for watching their 2 dogs.
It was delicious!!!

Bubbles!!!

Kathie loves her Gymboree bubbles!
They are really sticky and they float pretty slowly!
So she gets lots of play time out of them!

Buddy loves his new companion, Belle!

We have two crates for them, but they only want to sleep in the same one.
They are so cute! Since we have gotten Belle, Buddy has calmed down a lot!
You can tell that they love the companionship of each other!
